Job Description

Job Details Position Summary:
Supports the Senior Office Manager in our Hematology/Oncology Practice in the overall administration and coordination of one or more practice locations, ensuring efficient daily operations and high-quality patient service.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, billing, budgeting, and staff support. Serve as backup to the Practice Office Manager and support departmental decisions and initiatives. Ensure adequate staffing and assist with staff training, coaching, and onboarding. Oversee front-office functions, including call management, scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and data entry (EPIC). Collect and manage patient demographic, financial, and insurance information. Perform appointment reconciliation and charge entry; coordinate with the Revenue Cycle team to support accurate billing, A/R management, and revenue goals. Maintain records, files, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Communicate updates, policy changes, and operational information to staff and providers. Participate in staff meetings and support special initiatives and performance improvement efforts. Provide culturally competent service and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures. Partner with senior leadership to meet Oncology Service Line annual goals within the scope of the Cancer Institute division.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of administrative or clinic management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of healthcare operations, budgeting, and personnel practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Posted Salary Range USD $29.00 - USD $44.00 /Hr.
