Columbus/Dayton Region | Long Term Care & Post-Acute Care Are you the kind of person who can walk into a building, organize the chaos, support a team, and keep operations running smoothly? We're looking for a confident, experienced, and adaptable Regional Floating Business Office Manager to support multiple long term care and post-acute facilities throughout the Columbus/Dayton area. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their workday, and has a strong background in healthcare business office operations. What You'll Do As a Regional Floating Business Office Manager, you'll provide temporary and ongoing support to business office departments across several facilities.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting facilities with business office coverage and operational support Managing resident trust accounts, billing, collections, and accounts receivable Supporting Medicaid and Medicare processes Assisting residents and families with financial paperwork and questions Ensuring accurate census, insurance verification, and admission documentation Training and supporting facility business office staff Helping facilities improve AR performance and maintain compliance Collaborating with administrators and regional leadership teams Stepping in during transitions, vacancies, PTO coverage, or times of increased need What We're Looking For Previous experience in a Long Term Care Business Office Manager role required Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, and private pay billing Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collections processes Ability to travel throughout the Columbus/Dayton region Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to different teams and environments Experience with PCC Positive attitude and team-focused mindset Why Join Our Team? Salary:
