Job Description

Operations Manager Fire Storm Moving & Storage & Bin There Dump That Findlay, Ohio | Full-Time | Salary Position Fire Storm Moving & Storage and Bin There Dump That are growing rapidly and looking for a highly accountable, organized, and results-driven Operations Manager to help bring structure, leadership, and consistency to our daily operations. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across moving, junk removal, dumpster rentals, portable storage, dispatching, and field teams while implementing systems, improving accountability, and ensuring performance standards are consistently met. We are looking for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, takes ownership, solves problems quickly, and can help create operational structure where it currently does not exist. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations for moving, junk removal, portable storage, and dumpster divisions Hold staff accountable to company standards, scheduling expectations, customer service, and operational procedures Implement and improve systems, workflows, reporting processes, and operational structure Provide daily end-of-day reporting directly to ownership regarding team performance, scheduling, sales activity, operational issues, and completed work Track and monitor monthly sales goals, booking performance, job profitability, and team productivity Lead dispatching, route coordination, scheduling accuracy, and crew communication Conduct regular team meetings, performance coaching, and operational training Ensure crews are operating efficiently, professionally, and safely in the field Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Work closely with ownership to identify inefficiencies and drive operational improvements Qualifications 3+ years of operations, logistics, dispatch, or service management experience preferred Strong leadership and accountability mindset Ability to create structure, enforce expectations, and improve team performance Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Experience managing schedules, crews, logistics, or service operations Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Strong computer and reporting skills Valid driver's license required What We're Looking For This is not a sit-behind-the-desk management role. We need someone who leads from the front, communicates clearly, follows through, and holds people accountable. The right candidate will help us build stronger systems, improve operational consistency, and help drive the company toward aggressive monthly growth goals.
