Job Description
Office Manager National Service Information, Inc. (NSI) is a local Marion, Ohio company established in 1989. Our focus is preparing, filing, or retrieving public records documents for clients working through our Ohio and Indiana offices. NSI coordinates document filings and retrievals in all 50 states. Our clients include law firms, corporations, financial institutions, and entrepreneurs. NSI is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Office Manager with Accounting or Bookkeeping emphasis to assist with the daily operations of our well-established company.
Position Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable- approve invoices, maintain records, prepare and authorize payments. Accounts Receivable
- Bank deposits, journal entries, reconcile accounts. Issue statements to clients, address questions and concerns. Payroll
- Semi-Monthly payroll, record keeping of monthly and yearly payroll taxes. Process semi-monthly payroll using QuickBooks online payroll or similar program. General Ledger
- provide monthly financial information to management. Facilitate timely reconciliation of accounts. Assist management with year-end information and prepare documentation for income taxes. Communication skills
- Discuss issues with management, other employees, clients and perspective clients. Office Management
- Maintain files and retain documents. Establish office and accounting policies and procedures. Organize tasks to facilitate the smooth daily operations of the company. Other
- May aid other departments and management with special projects.
Experience:
Associates degree in accounting or 2-3 years commensurate experience Full Charge Bookkeeping experience will be considered Experience in reconciliation of financial records and statements Experience analyzing financial and banking statements Other helpful skills: QuickBooks Accounting Software QuickBooks Online Payroll Software or otherPayroll Software Pay:
