This pivotal role combines administrative oversight, clinical support, and billing responsibilities to ensure seamless operations within a busy primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be energized by managing teams, optimizing office workflows, and delivering exceptional patient service. Your leadership will foster a positive environment that promotes efficiency, compliance, and high-quality care delivery. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare management while supporting the health and well-being of our community. (You will be working Closely with the Regional Administrator) Responsibilities Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth coordination between clinical staff, administrative personnel, and patients Manage patient scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and patient flow to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Supervise medical administrative support staff, including training, performance evaluations, and team development Handle billing processes utilizing medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to ensure accurate coding and reimbursement Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations, healthcare policies, and JCAHO standards to protect patient privacy and uphold accreditation requirements Monitor fiscal management activities including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to optimize practice profitability Ensure medical records are accurately maintained in accordance with health regulation policies and legal standards Collaborate with healthcare providers on utilization management, managed care protocols, and acute care procedures to enhance patient outcomes Utilize EMR/EHR systems effectively for patient management, documentation, and reporting purposes Coordinate human resources functions such as staffing schedules, onboarding new team members, and addressing employee concerns Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management within a primary care or dental clinic environment Strong supervisory skills with experience managing healthcare teams effectively Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is essential Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards Background in medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle management using various billing software platforms Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with customer service expertise to foster positive patient interactions Understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health records (EHR) systems Ability to handle fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, and resource planning Experience with healthcare staff management including hiring, training, performance evaluation and conflict resolution Acute care or hospital experience is a plus; familiarity with managed care protocols is desirable Certification in nursing or related healthcare fields is advantageous but not mandatory Join us to lead a vibrant healthcare team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care while advancing your career in practice management!
