Job Description
Overview:
Physical Rehabilitation Center of Tulsa is seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and self-driven Front Desk Receptionist/Billing Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of our rehabilitation clinic. This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, sees what needs to be done, and does it without needing to be micromanaged. This role is essential to the success of our clinic and requires strong front-office, insurance, billing, and collections experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all receptionist duties , including scheduling, answering phones, patient check-in/check-out, and patient communication Verify insurance benefits , eligibility, and authorizations prior to treatment Manage medical billing , including claim submission, corrections, follow-ups, and resubmissions Handle all patient billing and collections, including balances, payment plans, and follow-up on outstanding accounts Oversee daily clinic workflow to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Previous medical receptionist experience is required. Experience with insurance verification and billing is required. Previous office manager experience is preferred. Experience in a physical therapy clinic or similar rehabilitation setting is a plus, but not required. Knowledge of medical billing, claims submission, and collections preferred Experience with EHR systems is a plus (Tebra and WebPT) Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and be a true self-starter Professional communication and customer service skills Must be dependable, proactive, and invested in running a lot of moving parts of the clinic to see it succeed.

Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
