Salary Range:
$35.00 - $42.00 per hour Benefits Hourly Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Agency Training Program Career Growth Opportunities Mon-Fri Schedule 401 K Benefits Paid Holidays Sick + Vacation Time Bonus Opportunities Requirements Qualified applicants must be at least 18 years old, have the ability to successfully complete a background check, and must currently possess or be willing to obtain at least a state P&C insurance license within 45 days License is Required, but office will pay or reimburse for licensing. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Must be comfortable talking to people on the phone Proficient with a computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator Must be able to type quickly and accurately for fast documented communication Organized, structured, punctual and will follow the rules Patient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honest. Must have the ability to keep customer information and situations confidential Customer Service, existing business, or education experience preferred 2 to 3 years of experience in the insurance industry along with a thorough understanding of all insurance coverages, underwriting and rating concepts is preferred Responsibilities First responder for incoming service tasks (walk-ins, calls, etc.) Perform service tasks (processing payments, scheduling appointments, updating customer account screens, taking a customer change request, filing, checking and contacting customers about alerts daily) Make outbound phone calls to schedule sales appointments for our agents Assisting producer/agent in the sales process to take tasks off their plate Ensure client records are maintained and respond to client matters in a timely manner, including questions and issues surrounding claims, eligibility, enrollment, and rates Research and resolve coverage questions Perform commercial service tasks (commercial certificates, commercial renewal policy updates, non-renewals, cancellations and other policy changes, claim submissions) Establish/continue customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed Ensure client records are maintained and keep track of outside lines renewals in excel doc.
