Business Office Manager Generations, LLC - 3.0 Clackamas, OR Job Details $26 - $30 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Long-term care regulations Regulatory compliance High school diploma or GED Medicaid regulations Medicaid 10 key typing Full Job Description General Job Summary The Business Office Manager at Generations is responsible to provide accounting support and enforce a strict segregation of duties between the community's Business Office Coordinator (BOC) and accounting tasks including, but not limited to accounts receivable/payable, and internal controls, while ensuring compliance with federal, state and senior-living regulatory requirements. Incorporates Generation's mission, vision, and values in the daily work and interactions with others. Essential Functions & Receptibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Support timely and accurate month-end close activities in accordance with Generations' financial calendar. Review, approve, and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices, deposits, rent statements, and resident refunds. Collaborate with Business Office Coordinators, Staff Accountants, and the accounting team to ensure financial accuracy and improve workflows. Provide training, guidance, and operational support to BOCs as needed. Assist with financial data entry, resident inquiries, audit preparations, and coverage during staffing shortages or peak workload periods. Verify compliance with internal controls, including separation of AP and AR functions. Maintain an organized, professional office environment and adhere to Generations' policies and standards. Demonstrate company values by promoting choice, dignity, independence, individuality, and privacy in all interactions. Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
High school diploma or GED required (bachelor's preferred in Business or Accounting). 3-5 years of experience in business office or accounting functions. Senior living, healthcare or multi-site experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of accounting best practices such as payables, receivables, and reconciliations. Strong knowledge of Federal, State, City, and County regulations and tax practices, and Medicaid regulations. Must pass background check and meet state regulatory standards.
