Job Description
Volunteer & Office Manager Horses Adaptive Riding and Therapy (HART) Founded in 2015, Horses Adaptive Riding and Therapy (HART) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and adults with disabilities through the healing power of horses. We create life-changing experiences by fostering meaningful connections between people and horses in a supportive, community-focused environment. Our team is passionate about empowering participants to achieve growth, confidence, and independence through equine-assisted services. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and enthusiastic Volunteer & Office Manager to help oversee our office operations and manage our dedicated community of volunteers. This position plays an important role in recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting volunteers while ensuring our office runs smoothly and provides a welcoming experience for participants, families, volunteers, and visitors.

10:00 a.m.
•2:00 p.m. Position Requirements Minimum of 2 years of office coordination or office management experience At least 1 year of experience working with volunteers, including scheduling and coordination Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable speaking to community groups and representing HART at outreach events Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team Compassionate, positive, and enthusiastic approach to working with people of all abilities Primary Responsibilities
•Office Management Oversee day-to-day office functions and administrative activities Respond to client, family, and volunteer inquiries in a timely and welcoming manner Answer and direct phone calls and assist visitors Support internal administrative functions and maintain organized office records Help ensure the office and facility maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized environment Volunteer Management Recruit, onboard, train, and support new and existing volunteers Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records, applications, and required paperwork Coordinate volunteer schedules to ensure program and lesson needs are met Communicate regularly with volunteers regarding schedules, expectations, and program needs Assist with volunteer recognition and retention efforts Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging volunteer experience Program & Community Support Help create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for participants, volunteers, families, and visitors Collaborate with instructors, staff, and volunteers to create a positive, fun, and supportive atmosphere Help ensure compliance with HART policies, safety procedures, and risk-management practices Join Our Team If you are passionate about helping others, enjoy bringing people together, and want to make a meaningful impact in your community, we would love to hear from you.
