Are you looking to build a career and make a positive addition to a growing credit union? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a director that is honest, respectful, and has integrity to guide the credit union.
Duties and responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the credit union operations and promote the strategic vision outlined by the Board of Directors (BOD). Partner with the Board of Directors and staff to grow the credit union to offer more services to benefit the membership. Prepare annual budgets, complete ongoing risk analysis on investments and advise the Board of Directors with regard to investment risk and return. Work with staff regarding day to day operations and ensuring compliance with daily tasks. Strive to offer exceptional member services on all levels. Oversee the credit union's balance sheet, the mission statement, policies and procedures and the marketing functions of the credit union. Participate in and review proposed changes to credit union policies and procedures for compliance with applicable regulatory laws, rules and regulations, and provide recommendations for any necessary changes. Represent the credit union at various functions, including attendance of important meetings, conferences, industry events, annual membership meeting and other public meetings. Work with examiners to assure regulations are being met. Manage hiring of new employees within the budget and supervise and manage personnel relations and performance. Attend all board meetings.
Required Skills:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or experience in Financial Services. Strong ability to think independently, organize effectively, delegate responsibility, solve problems quickly, and communicate clearly. Leadership skills, including the ability to manage time effectively and handle both internal and external conflicts. Managerial experience. Skills in MS Office and knowledge of financial accounting.
