As the heartbeat of our plumbing and electrical divisions, you will be responsible for running the office, dispatching, and ensuring our field technicians are operating efficiently. The ideal candidate knows the ins and outs of a home service company and isn't afraid to take charge. We need a strong leader who can keep everyone in line, track job progress, ensure payments are collected, and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Command the
Office:
Oversee all daily office activities and dispatch operations for both the electrical and plumbing divisions. Manage the
Technicians:
Keep field technicians scheduled, accountable, and "in line." Monitor real-time job progress to ensure efficiency and quality.
Payment Collection:
Actively track jobs to completion and ensure all payments are collected promptly and accurately.
Customer Relations:
Serve as the frontline voice of the company. Use your exceptional phone skills to communicate with customers on all levels—from booking calls to resolving issues.
Workflow Optimization:
Maintain tight coordination between the office and the field to ensure a seamless operation from the initial customer call to the final invoice.
Requirements:
Proven, hands-on experience running the office of a service company (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or similar trades). A vibrant, energetic personality matched with a no-nonsense ability to manage people and logistics. Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills. Strong experience in dispatching, invoicing, and payment collection. Ability to multitask, stay organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$25.02 - $35.00 per hour
