Office Manager / Exec. Admin•Walpole, Massachusetts As the office manager and Executive Admin at our Bird-Johnson Propeller Naval Marine site in Walpole, MA you will have the opportunity to positively impact the daily lives of all 150+ employees at our site. This role will interact across all functions and coordinate site activities. A proactive problem solver in a team environment that is a self-starter will excel here.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide Exec Admin support to the Bird-Johnson President and leadership team, including calendar management and arranging travel. Coordinate and support large customer meetings at the site. Manage site visitors with site security in compliance with company policy, organize meeting needs and refreshments where necessary. Support Human Resources and function managers with new employee onboarding. Manage inventory and order supplies for the site. Support office upkeep, photocopying, faxing, mail distribution and filing as appropriate. Draft and send sitewide communications on behalf of the functional teams. Assist with coordination of site engagement activities and projects as assigned. Anticipate the needs of the business.
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma & 2 years relevant experience Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook etc. Must be able to work most of core business hours on site. Remote work can be supported on an ad-hoc approved basis. Customer service orientated mentality•must be able to represent senior management professionally with external visitors, as well as support interior office team needs. Able to multitask and work with service providers. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Professional interpersonal skills. Experience of organizing sitewide events when needed. U.S. Citizenship Required.
Preferred:
Previous experience as an Office Administrator or event planning Previous experience working with Senior Level Managers
