Job Description
Office Administrator Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and support our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with permitting processes across various cities, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Construction experience is a plus, as it will aid in understanding project workflows and coordinating related activities. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. Duties Manage daily administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and document management. Coordinate and facilitate permitting processes with multiple city agencies to ensure timely approvals and compliance. Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, and related documentation. Assist in planning and supporting construction-related activities, leveraging construction knowledge when applicable. Serve as a point of contact between internal teams, clients, vendors, and city officials regarding permits and regulatory requirements. Prepare reports and maintain databases related to permits and project documentation. Support office operations by managing supplies, equipment, and administrative systems. Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining HR-related documentation as needed. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance office efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience as an Office Administrator or in a similar administrative role. Must have experience with permitting processes across various cities; familiarity with construction projects is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace. Ability to work independently and proactively address challenges as they arise. Knowledge of local permitting regulations and procedures is highly desirable. Pay:
