Job Description
Meyer Skidmore & Co. Meyer Skidmore & Co. is an established flooring company serving the Boulder/Denver area. We are looking for a highly organized, dependable Office Manager to help coordinate our day-to-day operations, customer communication, scheduling and administrative functions. Full-time preferred; 30-40 hours per week depending on the candidate. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a small business, can work independently and values the flexibility of working approximately half of the week from home.

Remote Attendance at our Monday morning team meeting is required. Compensation $25-$28 per hour , depending on experience. Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling for flooring installations, estimates, and other appointments
- Communicate with customers by telephone, email, and text
- Serve as a central point of contact between customers, installers, sales personnel, vendors, and management
- Track project progress and follow up on outstanding issues
- Assist with invoicing, deposits, accounts receivable, collection follow-up, and bookkeeping
- Follow up with customers after estimates have been provided by the sales team
- Confirm appointments, installation dates, and project details
- Maintain organized digital and physical records
- Prepare reports and information for weekly team meetings
- Drive Social Media platform - including posts and content
- Assist with customer review requests, referrals, email communications, and general marketing activities Qualifications
- Previous experience in office management, administration, project coordination or business operations
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
- Comfortable communicating with customers, contractors and vendors
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively without constant supervision
- Reliable and productive when working remotely
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, cloud-based software, and general office technology
- Flooring, construction or home-improvement industry experience is helpful but not required
- QuickBooks/ Bookkeeping experience is a plus We are a small, established company where the Office Manager plays an important role in keeping the business organized and providing a great customer experience.
