Office Manager Bolt & Wire Electric Cookeville, TN Full-Time or Part-Time Hybrid Position (Work from Home & Office)
Pay:
$18-$25 per hour (depending on experience) About Us Bolt & Wire Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and new construction customers throughout Middle Tennessee. We're looking for an organized, dependable, and self-motivated Office Manager to help keep our business running smoothly while providing exceptional customer service. Position Overview This position plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of our company. The Office Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, help coordinate our field crews, and keep office operations organized. This role can be performed primarily from home, with occasional visits to the office or job sites for meetings, training, or other business needs. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally. Respond to emails, text messages, and customer inquiries promptly. Schedule estimates, service calls, and project appointments. Coordinate daily schedules for our electricians and adjust schedules as needed. Communicate with homeowners, contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Create, send, and follow up on estimates and invoices using Jobber. Collect customer payments and follow up on outstanding invoices. Maintain customer records and job documentation. Order materials and coordinate deliveries when needed. Schedule inspections and assist with permit paperwork. Keep the company calendar organized and ensure jobs stay on schedule. Assist with bookkeeping and organize records for our CPA. Support hiring by scheduling interviews and assisting with onboarding. Request Google reviews and follow up with customers after projects are completed. Help improve office systems and workflows as the company grows. Qualifications Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Comfortable talking with customers over the phone and through email. Ability to multitask and prioritize work independently. Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented. Experience with Jobber, QuickBooks, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office is a plus (training available). Flexible Work Environment Work primarily from home. Flexible part-time or full-time schedule. Occasional office meetings or training. Must be available during normal business hours to answer calls, communicate with customers, and coordinate scheduling.
