Bonus based on performance Flexible schedule Paid time off Office Manager/Social Media Coordinator A full-time Office Manager is needed for Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) of Virginia, Peninsula Chapter. This position will be 6 hours/day for a five-day work week, or 30 hours/week with an occasional half day on Saturday. The potential exits for 40 hours/week as the ministry outreach grows. General Chapter Administration Purchases necessary office supplies and maintain inventory of CEF materials Serves as Child Protection Coordinator by ensuring child protection policy compliance of all employees and volunteers for the chapter and keeps accurate records on GNC roster spreadsheet Collects all Good News Clubs (GNC) and 5DC stat reports and inputs into monthly statistical reporting system Communicates with GNC Team Leaders via email and phone Collects student registration forms from GNC Team Leaders for all enrolled students in GNC and ensure all GNC have approved facility requests on file Creates monthly prayer calendar and sends weekly prayers and praises to state and local chapter Compiles outreach packets for distribution to pastors, churches, and schools and for special events Prints and sorts GNC Registration Forms for all schools, Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) Packets and other resources as needed Creates yearly student demographic list via VA Dept of Education for accurate GNC stats Maintains updated list of all churches within chapter boundaries Formats online registration for each GNC on chapter website Requests Church Mutual insurance certificates for each school district Cleans office (if applicable) to include light dusting, vacuuming and removing trash Maintains files (both electronic and hard copy) of policies, general office procedures, correspondence and various statistical reports in accordance to record retention guidelines with monthly backup to external hard drive Assists the Director and Committee by ensuring all required forms, reports, and communications to the State Board are submitted accurately and on time. Oversees administrative deadline tracking, including year-end donor receipts and other key tasks, while providing reminders and support to the Chair, Treasurer, and leadership team to help ensure timely completion. Web Communication/Social Media Creates and maintains Facebook page for CEF of Peninsula by posting articles, testimonies and upcoming events. Updates chapter website with newsletters, videos and postings from CEF Headquarters to keep site fresh and current Maintains segmented lists on MailChimp and evite for ease of communication to specific audiences (i.e. volunteers, prayer partners, supporters, etc.) Sends evites for training, yearly fall kickoff, volunteer appreciation and other events Assists in designing newsletter, formatting hard copy of newsletter and mailing to supporters Ministry Support Services Supports fund-raising efforts by overseeing campaign mailings and aiding in banquet coordination Supports training by ensuring chapter has a supply of 15 Leader/Admin Training Handbooks and 30 Quick Start Training Manuals and other needed materials Assists with teachers' training, developing and presenting PowerPoint presentations and computer issues/navigation Oversees volunteer help on special projects. We are seeking a committed servant of God, preferably one who loves the ministry of CEF. The office manager should demonstrate exemplary Christian character, have a teachable humble spirit, and represent the ministry in a friendly and cheerful manner. The candidate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, discretion and attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work independently. Qualifications for Ministry Staff Is born again, has the assurance of salvation and is willing to give a testimony of their salvation Must sign the CEF Ministry Compliance Agreement Is called to serve in the ministry and can explain that calling Believes that children can be saved from sin by coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ Demonstrates an active dependence on prayer and is a continual student of the Word of God Is a team player Possesses basic computer and technology skills Is self-motivated and organized Meets the specific qualifications necessary to perform the requirements of the job description Participates in raising ministry support Has a good testimony at home, on the job and in his neighborhood and local church as reflected by both speech and conduct Is actively involved in a local church Is continually learning to trust the Lord for victory, wisdom and guidance Submits biblically to authority Lives in the area of ministry Ministry Office Skills (used frequently)
