We are committed to providing an excellent clinical experience for our patients and an amazing work environment for our employees. Overview The primary purpose of this position is to train and assist business office managers and staff on accurate and efficient billing practices according to company and industry standards, to monitor timely collections of accounts receivable across multiple operations in and around the Texas market and to ensure exact recording of revenue transactions in locations operating in the healthcare industry. Duties Accounts receivable & Revenue Cycle Control Oversee and execute all accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, and book closures. Establish and maintain comprehensive financial recordkeeping systems for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, employee records maintenance, and tax computations. Prepare, review, and interpret monthly financial statements and statistical reports for leadership. Accounts receivable & Revenue Cycle Control Direct, organize, and monitor accounts receivable workflows, cash postings, and bank deposits across assigned locations. Step in to perform hands-on business office AR functions and month-end closing during temporary staff vacancies. Monitor internal controls, track delinquent accounts, and execute corrective action plans for AR workflow deficiencies. Leadership, Training & Personnel Management Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting, billing, and payroll personnel as needed. Develop written job descriptions and compliance-focused performance evaluations. Delegate authority and prioritize team schedules based on location needs and improvement opportunities. Compliance, Policy & Quality Assurance Ensure all operations align with internal policies, legal regulations (ADA, OSHA, federal/state laws), and corporate integrity standards. Review accounting policies annually, interpret procedures for stakeholders, and implement corrective plans for audit deficiencies. Maintain critical documentation, including resident admission contracts and grievance reports. Strategic Collaboration & Facility Relations Serve as a key liaison to the Administrator, medical staff, department directors, and corporate leaders. Participate in top-level meetings and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate reporting and budget management. Foster a positive, professional, and well-supplied workspace while staying updated on long-term care industry trends.
