Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Director of Operations for a home care provider in the Charleston, SC area. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the agency, including staffing, scheduling oversight, caregiver recruitment and retention, client relations, compliance, office administration, and business development support. This key position works closely with the Nursing Director to ensure exceptional client care, caregiver satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and efficient agency operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting both clients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the agency to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with the Nursing Director to achieve agency goals and objectives
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Monitor agency performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain operational records, reports, and documentation as required by company policy and applicable regulations
  • Assist in strategic planning and operational growth initiatives Client Services
  • Oversee client onboarding and service implementation
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Address concerns, complaints, and service issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor client satisfaction and support retention efforts
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with care plans and client expectations Caregiver Recruitment & Management
  • Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention efforts for caregivers
  • Support caregiver training and professional development initiatives
  • Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when necessary
  • Foster a positive, professional, and supportive workplace culture
  • Develop strategies to improve caregiver engagement and retention Scheduling & Staffing Oversight
  • Oversee scheduling operations to ensure adequate staffing coverage
  • Monitor open shifts, staffing challenges, and service gaps
  • Collaborate with scheduling personnel to maximize continuity of care
  • Assist with after-hours staffing emergencies and operational issues as needed
  • Ensure clients receive consistent and reliable care coverage Compliance & Quality Assurance
  • Support compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Assist with audits, surveys, and regulatory reviews
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and recordkeeping
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Work closely with the Nursing Director to support regulatory and clinical compliance requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 8+ years of office management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage several priorities and deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft 365/Office Suite background
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving abilities
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Medicaid home care program experience
  • Knowledge of South Carolina home care regulations and compliance requirements
  • Associate's degree
  • Scheduling and workforce management software experience
Pay:
$65,000.00
  • $75,000.
