Job Description

Nashville Dance Center is looking for an organized, tech savvy, and high energy Office Manager to be the "face of the studio." You will be the primary point of contact for our families and the organizational "glue" that supports our staff of 20+ instructors.
The Schedule:
Monday•
Thursday:
2:00 PM•8:30
PM Saturday:
8:00 AM•2:00
PM Fridays & Sundays:
OFF Total:
30-32 hours per week
What You'll Do:
Customer Concierge:
Act as the first point of contact for parents and students, handling enrollments, class inquiries, and studio communications with a professional and welcoming tone.
Operational Management:
Maintain the studio's Master Schedule (using Teamup) to ensure studio scheduling is perfectly coordinated.
Account Support:
Manage student accounts and tuition processing within Jackrabbit Dance. This includes running monthly payments for families and resolving billing inquiries.
Private Lesson Coordination:
Act as the primary scheduler for private lessons, matching family requests with instructor availability and managing room assignments.
Facility Rental Liaison:
Field inquiries for outside studio rentals, manage booking contracts, and ensure third party users are scheduled accurately.
Inventory Coordination:
Oversee the organization, tracking, and sales of studio dancewear and apparel inventory.
Event Logistics:
Play a lead role in the planning and execution of our annual recitals, competitions, and special studio events.
What We're Looking For:
System Savvy:
You should be a "power user" of the Google Ecosystem. Prior experience with Jackrabbit or Teamup is a massive plus.
Professional Communicator:
You can handle a busy lobby with grace and communicate clearly via email and phone.
Reliability:
We value extreme punctuality. Our families and instructors count on the studio being open, professional, and ready for business at the start of every scheduled shift.
Experience:
Prior experience within a dance studio or performing arts organization is highly preferred. That said, we prioritize high level administrative talent and customer service excellence. If you are tech savvy and exceptionally organized, we want to hear from you. Why NDC? You'll work in a professional, modern environment with a team that values efficiency and high artistic standards. Ownership handles all high level bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks, allowing you to focus your energy entirely on our families, our staff, and the daily studio experience.
The Transition:
We are looking to hire by mid-May to allow for a paid shadowing and training period throughout June. You'll have the opportunity to learn our systems directly from our outgoing manager before taking the lead on July 1st.
Pay:
$22.00•$25.00 per hour
