Job Description

We are looking for a qualified medical office manager to run our 2 dermatology offices. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations, patient accounts, and staff oversight. We value excellent communication skills as well as the ability to develop our team using a positive friendly attitude. An understanding of healthcare systems operations is important as well as prior managerial experience. Responsibilities Overseeing billing and insurance payments Supervise front desk and nursing staff Organize staff records and perform regular staff reviews Act as liaison for physicians, medical staff, and non-medical staff for potential issues Advertising and social media Ensure compliance with credentialing, CAQH, medical license renewals, and current healthcare regulations and medical laws Product inventory tracking Hiring and firing of potential employees Skills Medical managerial experience Understanding of accounting and administrative principles BS degree (preferably related to healthcare or business) Understanding of medical terminology Excellent organizational, customer service and time-management skills Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations Leadership and excellent communication skills Strong supervisory and leadership skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to function well in a high-paced work environment
