  • Full-time Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Office Manager to lead the administrative and financial operations within a healthcare setting.
This pivotal role combines expertise in medical office management, fiscal oversight, and team supervision to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to managing medical records, billing and compliance, fostering an environment of efficiency and excellence. Duties Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial reporting, billing processes, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and other healthcare standards. Supervise administrative staff, providing leadership in training, performance evaluations, and workflow optimization to enhance team productivity. Coordinate with clinical teams to support nursing, dental, or acute care services by ensuring proper documentation and adherence to medical management protocols Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while utilizing EMR/EHR systems effectively. Facilitate communication between departments to streamline practice management processes and improve patient experience. Requirements Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare administration with a strong background in fiscal management and office supervision. Extensive knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, billing procedures, and financial reporting within a healthcare setting. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare compliance standards like JCAHO accreditation. Supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of medical office workflows across various specialties including nursing, dental clinics, acute care, or hospital settings. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management practices is highly desirable. Ability to adapt quickly to new technology systems and stay current with evolving healthcare regulations.
