Office Administrator / Accounts Payable Daybar Industries Ltd - 3.9 Irving, TX Job Details Full-time 6 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Microsoft Excel Interpersonal skills Organizational skills Front desk Time management Full Job Description Office Administrator/Accounts Payable Specialist (On-site - Texas Office) Daybar Xpress Irving is seeking an Office Administrator/Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team! The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in office administration and processing vendor invoices in a manufacturing setting and utilizing the ERP systems to leverage the Accounts Payable function. Responsibilities Perform office administrator duties, such as answering phones, emails, and ordering administrative supplies. Monitor and maintain general AP email account. Create and receive purchase orders for materials and all supporting documentation, and investigating and resolve discrepancies. Perform 3-way match: PO, packing slip, invoices, and enter the invoices in the system. Upload all invoices, with packing slips, and purchase orders into the system. Maintain Vendor contracts Processing shipping copies, and prepare outgoing mail for shipping. Provide excellent leadership and attention to detail in all components of accounts payable to ensure accuracy in payments Respond to all related inquiries from vendors and internal stakeholders. Reconcile vendor statements and stay on top of vendor issues. Maintain and file documentation. Establish effective and cooperative working relationships with internal departments. Perform backup functions as required and participate in cross-training initiatives. Other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong computer skills including intermediate to advanced Excel. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Experience with Acumatica highly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic environment. About ourCompany:
