Overview The Field Office Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring all operational, maintenance, and customer service needs are met on a daily basis. Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, Local, Company rules regulations, and policies associated with all assigned areas placed under his or her authority.

What You'll Do- Provides supervision for Field Technicians and Field Technicians-in-Training; establishes priorities, schedules work, determines and assigns duties; checks work in progress and completed work; approves work time for Field Technicians.
- Assist in all areas of operations, maintenance, and customer service as needed for all facility systems within the company.
- Perform routine checks of water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
- Monitor and train staff in all aspects of system functions and safety.
- Take on temporary responsibilities as area manager, during the managers' absence.
- Administers specific personnel actions, including hiring, terminations, and performance reviews; maintains discipline and ensures proper procedures are followed.
- May participate in the interviewing of prospective employees for other Field Supervisors.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with those contacted during the course of work.
- Other duties as required by Area Manager.
What You'll Bring Education:
Requires knowledge normally acquired through attainment of a High School Diploma or GED plus job-related skills and technical knowledge of water and wastewater operations and maintenance attained by specialized course and on-the-job training.Experience:
Requires a minimum of three years supervisory experience and eight years directly related to water and/or wastewater system operations, maintenance, customer service, and experience operating back-hoe and/or track-hoe equipment.TCEQ License:
A class C Water and C Wastewater Certification issued by the TCEQ. The applicant must obtain a class C Water and Wastewater Certification issued by the TCEQ within 1 year of accepting the position and a CSI by the TCEQ within 2 year of accepting the position.Computer Skills:
Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Mobile Data Terminals (MDT) such as SAP for work order management and scheduling, time card management, inventory management, and procurement activities is desirable. Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows Explorer is required; Experience using GIS map viewer software is desirable. Experience using field data collection devices such as GPS, valve operating data, etc. is desirable.Other Requirements Driver's License:
A Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record as determined by the Company's insurance carrier is desirable. Work Environment Employee works in a climate-controlled office environment and also at field locations and plants; employee may be subject to adverse weather and environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, humidity and precipitation; noise and vibration from heavy equipment; exposure to physical hazards from equipment with moving parts, high voltage electrical equipment, hazardous chemicals, bacteria in wastewater.
