Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Manager

We are looking for a bookkeeper to maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; positing transactions.

Skills/Qualifications:

Must be proficient in Quickbooks Enterprise Accounting Software, Peachtree, and Peachtree Quantum, Paychex Payroll Services, Developing Standards, Analyzing Information, Dealing with Complexity, Data Entry Skills, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Thoroughness.

Job Duties:

• Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
• Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
• Prepare weekly payroll.
• Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Handle bank transactions.
• Perform clerical duties pertaining to accounting department.
• Maintains historical records by filing documents.
• Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Office is located 15-20 minutes south of San Antonio off of IH 37.
