We are a growing company and are looking for talented, experienced Assistant Office Manager to join our executive team to assist in managing our Gillman Nissan store in Rosenberg, TX! Assistant Office Manager - Nissan Rosenberg Temporary Position with Opportunity for Permanent Employment
MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION
Supervise the Nissan accounting staff including the receptionists. Assist Dealership Controller with various monthly closeout entries. Assist Dealership Controller to manage and oversee certain accounting schedules to ensure accounting staff are properly posting and updating notes on certain accounting schedules. Prepare the supplemental data for our Gillman NCM 20 Group and assist Dealership Controller with financial stat data as needed. Post weekly payroll and related payroll taxes. Post all manufacturer accounts including but not limited to warranty claims, rebates/incentives, floorplan assistance, holdback, PDI, advertising/coop are posted and reconciled timely to the manufacturer statement and general ledger. Attend and participate in all weekly Nissan Management meetings. Prepare and work the reconciliation of intercompany reconciliations among related dealerships. Upload monthly product payable statements for all extended product payables and make sure all outstanding items on the payable schedules not paid are submitted to respective F&I companies after close out. Prepare the reconciliation of finance reserve statements and monthly adjustments. Manage and work with bank representatives during the Nissan floorplan audits. Prepare the reconciliation of inventory to dealer statements. Prepare the monthly sales, lease rental, and battery reports and make related payments. Review monthly accounts payable reconciliations to ensure all outstanding items including credits are being posted and paid or taken timely. Prepare the monthly manufacturer parts reconciliations and make the related monthly adjustments to clear outstanding items. Review Nissan monthly parts reconciliation with parts manager and General Manager. Review to make sure sold units are paid off from floor plan timely by accounting staff. Pay and post monthly loaner curtailments and related interest for Nissan store. Adjust standard entries monthly for loaner unit depreciation and other standard entries as needed. Research and post certain transactions on weekly bank statements as needed. Post outstanding items on monthly credit card reconciliation for Nissan if not clearing subsequent month. Research and prepare entries and work closely with the Extended Warranty Clerk to properly process cancellations regarding aged items on the cancellation payable schedules. Research and prepare entries related to sublet schedules if needed. Prepare and/or review the sales bonus calculations. Serve as primary check signer for Nissan accounts payable checks. EXPERIENCE
Prior automotive dealership accounting experience or degree in accounting Prior Staff Accountant / Office Manager management experience Must be detailed oriented and possess good organizational skills and the ability to work to deadlines. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Accounting degree preferred Nissan accounting experience preferred. Reynolds & Reynolds ERA Ignite experience preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must pass drug test and extensive criminal background screening. Motivated to go beyond the minimum standard
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
