Job Description
Company Overview Livestock Nutrition Center specializes in blending customized rations, supplements and premixes to meet the specific nutritional needs of Livestock Producer's operations. We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation. Mission Statement Our Mission is to add value to the suppliers and end users in the feed ingredient supply chain through distribution, processing and service. Guiding Principle Our focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability. Position Summary The Office Manager is responsible for coordinating office operations and accounting processes to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency, supervising office staff, and maintaining office records. The position includes transactional activities as well as supervisory responsibilities. Job Responsibilities Knowledgeable of all administrative and accounting processes and ability to cross train administrative staff. Delegate tasks according to business needs. Ensure completion and accuracy of all accounting practices at location. Process inbound/outbound loads, sales order invoicing, accounts payable problem resolution, and AR deposits. Complete the Daily Close by given deadline and research any areas on concern. Provide inventory management support including supplying inventory detail to operations regularly, reviewing negative inventory values, performing spot checks, and assisting with mid-month and year-end physicals. Effectively communicate all accounting/admin activities to other locations, the corporate office, and RBSMs as needed. Areas of focus include Supervise the office staff, provide regular feedback on performance, and complete year-end review Oversee scale duty processes and ensure that scale protocols are followed Support locations by planning office events, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness. Recruiting, orientation, and onboarding of new administrative employees. Maintain all administrative and accounting files according to the record retention policy. Perform any other related processes and tasks as assigned Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma; Associate's degree or equivalent preferred 2 years of administrative experience Supervisory and/or Management experience preferred Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel. Strong time management and organizational skills Positive attitude and good work ethic Ability to work well in a team-based environment Strong sense of customer service with both internal and external customers Ability to work occasional weekends and/or overtime as needed Stand or sit for extended periods of time Benefits and Perks All full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
