Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee daily administrative operations and manage core accounting functions. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our office and the accuracy of our financial records. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day office operations, supplies, and vendor coordination Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries Reconcile bank statements and internal accounts on a regular basis Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting and audits Support member service functions as needed, including basic account inquiries Coordinate with external partners such as auditors, regulators, and service providers Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a financial institution Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Excellent organizational and time management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a credit union or banking environment Familiarity with regulatory requirements for financial institutions Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Paid time off and holidays Retirement plan Supportive, team-oriented work environmentPay:
