Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a Front Office Manager to manage our reception area. You will act as the 'face' of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, scheduling and client services. As a Front office manager, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude to supervise and lead our team. Our ideal candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and has a solid customer service approach. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and friendly service to our customers. We are seeking applicants for a full-time salary position. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm. We practice outpatient physical therapy, occupational therapy, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, specialized treatment of work related injuries, and job site services. With over 30 years of operation, we have 10 established clinics with additional expansion coming to our Northern Virginia, Baltimore, and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to the delivery of outstanding customer service and personalized physical therapy services. Responsibilities Conduct patient scheduling Coordinating referrals and insurance authorizations Providing exceptional customer service and communication to both our clients and referral sources Managing patient charts and paperwork Ensure timely and accurate customer service Monitor stock and order office supplies Ensure company's policies and security requirements are met Basic Qualifications Proven work experience as a Front Desk Manager or Reception Manager Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures Proficiency in English (oral and written) Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word Excellent communication and people skills Good organizational and multitasking abilities Problem-solving skills High School diploma; additional certification is a plus Understanding of medical terminology Proficient transcription skills of 70 WPM Preferred Qualifications Proficiency in Spanish (oral and written) Not sure you have enough experience?
