Office Manager Showcase Dance Studio | Manassas, VA | In-Person Part-Time | Year-Round | Approximately 22.5 Hours/Week During the Regular Dance Season $23-$25/hour, based on experience Are You Our Next Office Manager? Showcase Dance Studio is looking for an exceptional Office Manager to help lead the daily operations of our busy, family-focused dance studio. One minute you may be welcoming a new family for a studio tour, the next you're reviewing a family account, working in a Google Sheet, helping size a dancer for ballet shoes, answering the phone or helping a parent solve a problem. If you love variety, organization, people, numbers and following things through to completion, this may be a great fit for you. Who We're Looking For We're looking for an overachiever who takes pride in their work and strives for excellence . You'll thrive in this position if you: Genuinely enjoy helping and talking with people Are an excellent listener and communicator Are confident with numbers, money and spreadsheets Are comfortable professionally following up on outstanding balances Have exceptional attention to detail Are organized and love a clean, fresh-smelling workspace Naturally take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do Can handle frequent interruptions while still getting your work completed accurately Stay calm and solutions-focused when someone is frustrated Enjoy learning technology and new systems Take ownership and follow responsibilities through to completion Look for ways to make things better, not simply check things off a list Believe "good enough" isn't the standard when you are capable of excellence Are able to regularly walk throughout our 12,000+ sq. ft. facility, alternate between sitting and standing, bend and reach when assisting with merchandise and costumes, and lift/carry reasonable studio supplies What You'll Do You'll help oversee the daily administrative, financial and family-facing operations of the studio, including: Providing exceptional 5-Star service to dancers and families Managing family accounts, payments, credits, Accounts Receivable and collections Answering phones, emails and family questions Giving studio tours and assisting prospective families with enrollment Working collaboratively with our team to manage leads through our CRM Using Google Sheets, Google Forms, Google Docs, Jotform, Canva, Asana and studio-management software Assisting with merchandise sales, inventory and ordering Sizing dancers for dancewear, shoes and merchandise Assisting with costume measurements, tracking and exchanges Supporting studio events and administrative projects Maintaining an exceptionally clean and organized office environment Completing a final walkthrough of our facility each evening to ensure it is clean, organized, secure and ready for the next day Identifying problems, taking initiative and helping find solutions Our Culture Matters Showcase Dance Studio is a More Than Just Great Dancing!® affiliated studio , and we believe dance lessons teach life lessons.
