We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven, and collaborative Case Manager / Assistant Business Office Manager who thrives in the fast-paced world of skilled nursing and managed care coordination. You will act as a liaison between clinical teams, insurance providers, and families , ensuring accurate authorization management, seamless admissions, and strong reimbursement outcomes—while also supporting Business Office operations. Key ResponsibilitiesManaged Medicare / Case Management Coordinate all aspects of Managed Medicare authorizations and case management Communicate with insurance companies to secure timely approvals and continued stays Track and manage length of stay, authorizations, and payer requirements Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate utilization and discharge planning Review clinical documentation to support medical necessity and reimbursement Maintain strong relationships with payers and referral partners Assistant Business Office Manager Duties Support billing, collections, and insurance follow-up processes Assist with accounts receivable oversight and payer issue resolution Ensure accurate documentation for billing compliance Help manage resident accounts and financial communication with families Partner with the BOM to optimize cash flow and operational efficiency What We're Looking For Experience in skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare case management Familiarity with Managed Medicare (HMOs), authorizations, and payer processes Highly organized with strong attention to detail and sense of urgency Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive under deadlines Excellent communication skills—able to work with clinical teams, families, and insurers Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Preferred:
