Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Business Office Manager to join our healthcare team. This pivotal role combines administrative expertise with healthcare management, supporting the smooth operation of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will excel in fiscal management, medical office administration, and team supervision, ensuring compliance with health regulations and delivering exceptional patient service. Duties Assist in overseeing daily financial operations, including billing and accounts payable. Supervise medical administrative staff, providing training and guidance on medical records management, patient scheduling, and customer service standards. Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, CHAP
standards, and health regulation policies by maintaining accurate medical records and safeguarding patient information. Support clinic operations by managing patient management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other healthcare IT systems to optimize workflow efficiency. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate practice management activities, including staffing schedules, human resources functions, and performance evaluations. Facilitate communication across teams by managing managerial communication channels and ensuring clarity in operational directives. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office management or healthcare practice management with a strong background in fiscal oversight and administrative supervision. Knowledge of healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance, CHAP standards, and health policy policies. Strong supervisory skills with experience managing teams within a healthcare setting; previous nursing or clinical support experience is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with medical billing, managed care processes, and utilization management practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and documentation purposes.
