Business Office Manager -Skilled Nursing Facility Salary:
$70,000-$90,000 annually We are seeking an experienced and organized Business Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of a skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee resident billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash posting Manage Medicare, Medicaid, private-pay, and insurance billing processes Verify resident financial information and maintain accurate account records Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances Assist residents and families with billing questions and financial paperwork Coordinate closely with the Administrator, admissions team, corporate office, and department leaders Process accounts payable, deposits, and other business office transactions Support payroll and employee-related administrative functions as needed Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable state and federal regulations Protect confidential resident, employee, and financial informationQualifications:
Previous business office, billing, or accounts receivable experience in a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private-pay billing Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare billing or accounting software A professional, compassionate approach when working with residents, families, and team members We offer competitive compensation, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to play an important role in the success of our facility.
