Job Description

The Administrative Assistant will provide support to Customers, Operations, Accounting Manager, Inventory & Records Administrator, Contracts Administrator, and other departments as needed. Essential Functions Answer Phones Process/Distribute mail and shipments Book airline travel and lodging for employees and others upon request Maintain Company housing calendar Clerical tasks as needed (faxing, copying, filing, scheduling, etc.) Professionally represent the company to existing and future clients Assist with general office duties Maintain files on server Issue company IDs and Certification cards Keep office areas clean and stocked Support with Glacier Tours Assist with general facilities duties/office duties Competencies Accuracy Professional, positive attitude Resourcefulness Computer literacy Comfortable in Excel Has basic accounting/administrative experience Accounting experience a plus Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The office is located at an airport and can be noisy. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, an employee in this position must be able to occasionally lift inventory items weighing up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, or crouch. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. with after-hours availability for summertime travel bookings needs. Required Education and Experience Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows operating system Experience in Excel Valid driver's license Preferred Education and Experience Experience in aviation industry Experience in logistics Experience in general administration and accounting AAP/EEO Statement We are an equal opportunity employer.
