is a privately family-owned Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) Medicaid provider dedicated to supporting individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities. The owners of the company are a husband-wife duo who bring a combined experience of over 40 years in the field, supported by a dynamic team of passionate career caregivers who are dedicated to the day-to-day services we provide. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant provides vital clerical and organizational support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of Tides LLC. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll, participating in employee coordination, leading recruitment and employee onboarding, and taking an active role in the rebuilding the company's daily systems. These tasks include but not limited; Supporting the Administrative team in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Operational Plan Assisting with various operational duties including but not limited to: managing various meeting or compliance trackers, reviewing plan of care summaries, auditing various service management system. Provide strong customer service and communication, elevating a strong supportive work environment. Provide general administrative support including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office correspondence. Assist with billing, payroll, and timesheet collection as directed. Scheduling and coordinate meetings, staff trainings, and appointments; manage the maintenance of a small fleet of vehicles Prepare and distribute agency communications, memos, and reports. Maintain office supplies and equipment Assist with planning and organizing of events Assist with various projects as assigned. Perform other administrative duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ability to be self-directed through the completion of tasks is essential, as well as the ability to provide strong and solution based communication with team members , and upholding our company's core values of Teamwork, Integrity, and Dependability in Everyday Services. Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree preferred). Prior experience as an administrative assistant or in office management, preferably in healthcare, social services, or HCBS setting. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer literacy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly. Knowledge of Alaska HCBS programs and regulations (preferred, but not required) Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle Ability to pass the Alaska Background Check program Work Environment & Schedule Office-based position with standard business hours, Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. This is a three-quarter time position of 30 hours per week, and offers PTO and paid holidays at a three-quarter time level. Some flexibility may be required to support agency needs.
