About Us Alaska Roteq strives to be the most trusted, premier solutions provider of service, repair and products for industrial equipment in the State of Alaska. We have a 35,000 square foot facility that primarily services the repair of rotating equipment from full machining services, thermal spray coating, welding, balancing, field machining and engineering among our many other services. In addition to repairs, we provide full-service support for purchases of new equipment and engineered products in the realm of pumps, air compressors, mechanical seals, valves and instrumentation. Position Summary We are seeking an Office Admin to join our team. Office experience in an industrial or construction company is highly desirable. The ideal candidate is timely and dependable, highly organized, computer savvy, has general bookkeeping experience, enjoys working with customers over the phone, possesses strong communication skills and strives to provide excellent customer service. Duties and Responsibilities:
Answer multi-line phone, transferring calls & taking messages as appropriate Greet visitors to facility in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner Track and help expedite incoming parts orders Assist with tracking inventory, sales orders and purchase orders Assist Outside / Inside Sales staff with closing orders Open, date stamp & sort incoming mail and process outgoing mail Match AP invoices to PO's for processing Create and distribute AR invoices for customer orders Maintain office supplies by organizing and restocking supplies as needed Perform filing, scanning and copying Coordinate set-up of sales functions or other meetings, including food ordering Credit card reconciliation Other duties as assigned

This position exercises independent judgment in resolving routine administrative issues, and providing customer service support, while escalating complex operational, personnel, or financial matters to the Accounting Manager as appropriate. Organizational Role The Office Administrator serves as a central communication and coordination point between customers, vendors, office staff, personnel, and shop operations. The role is critical to maintaining efficient workflow, supporting business operations, and ensuring a professional customer experience that aligns with Alaska Roteq's commitment to service excellence.
