Job Description Overview The Department of Poultry Science is looking for a student to assist with administrative and clerical tasks at the Charles C. Miller Jr. Poultry Research & Education Center. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to: Answering the phone Receiving, greeting, and directing visitors and students Providing general information to the public Coordinating shipping, mail, and other delivery services Assisting with the planning and coordination of events Performing a variety of routine clerical and administrative tasks for faculty and staff Serving as a member of a team providing support services and information Qualifications Enrolled student at Auburn University Must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA . Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of various office equipment. Ability to work with a diverse group of people. Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and/or as a team member. Must be highly organized, disciplined, dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and flexible. Previous experience working in an office setting. Why Work at Auburn?
