Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Assistant County Administrator to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional management skills, foster cross-functional collaboration, and provide executive-level leadership to ensure the effective delivery of public services. This position is designed for a motivated professional eager to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant community through innovative management and strategic planning. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a closely related field is required. A minimum of two years in Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Duties Assist the County Administrator in developing and executing strategic plans that align with community needs and organizational goals Lead operational management efforts across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency and compliance with policies and regulations Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among departments to promote unified service delivery and process improvement Support executive leadership by providing data-driven insights, preparing reports, and presenting recommendations to senior officials Lead negotiations with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to foster beneficial relationships and advance county prioritiesRequirements Proven experience in management roles with a focus on operations, finance, or public administration within a government or large organization Strong leadership skills with experience managing executive-level teams and fostering high-performance work environments Excellent verbal communication skills suited for engaging with senior executives, elected officials, and community stakeholders Demonstrated ability in project management, strategic planning, and process improvement initiatives Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, fiscal oversight, and resource allocation aligned with organizational objectives Proficiency in data analysis to support decision-making processes and operational enhancements Ability to navigate complex negotiations and develop innovative solutions for business development opportunities Knowledge of government operations or public sector business management is highly desirable Join us as we drive impactful change through strategic leadership and operational excellence.
