Job Description:
PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT LAUDERDALE COUNTY AGRICULTURE CENTER AUTHORITY
The Lauderdale County Agriculture Center Authority, responsible for the planning and development of a multipurpose complex located at Florence Blvd, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the Board and assists with coordination of meetings, records, and communications. The position is part-time with flexible hours. Compensation is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Attend board meetings and accurately record and prepare meeting minutes Prepare, compile, and distribute meeting agendas and supporting materials Post and/or publish notices of board meetings in compliance with applicable requirements Draft, prepare, and distribute correspondence on behalf of the Board Maintain organized records, files, and documentation of Board activities Coordinate meeting scheduling and logistics Assist with administrative aspects of ongoing development activities for the multipurpose complex Run occasional errands and perform general administrative support tasks Perform other duties as assigned by the Board in support of the Boards activities
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Basic proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook/, PDF tools) Prior administrative or governmental support experience preferred, but not required
Additional Information:
The Authority does not currently maintain a permanent office location; work may be performed remotely and/or at designated meeting locations until a permanent site is established Must be available to attend scheduled board meetings as required
Compensation:
Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications
