High School Graduate or GED Must meet
Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Status:
48 Semester hours of college coursework OR an Associate's Degree OR passing scores on the WorkKeys assessment (Business Writing, Applied Math, Workplace Documents) Complete application on File Approved background check conducted by Fieldprint

JOB GOAL
To assist the secretary and principal with related office duties.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain an acceptable level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students. Proficient computer skills. Provide clerical assistance. Maintain daily attendance and complete monthly attendance reports. Utilize the Student Information System to enter information related to student tardiness, check-ins and check-outs. Keep accurate monthly reports related to student attendance. Assist with implementation of the CNP program including, but not limited to, free and reduced lunch forms and tickets. Assist with counting and documenting any and all money that comes through the office. Answer the telephone as needed. Take accurate messages and schedule appointments as requested. Become proficient in operating and maintaining such equipment as a laminating machine, copy/fax machine, intercom and any other equipment necessary to the job. Construct bulletin boards/learning displays as needed. Assist with athletic event preparation as needed. Learn the appropriate computer program(s) to assist with posting grades, running report cards, etc. Assist with the initial student enrollment/paperwork process. Assist with graduation preparation, school pictures, and any other school wide event. Assist with any typing responsibilities including purchase orders. Prepare honor rolls, grade verification sheets, class rolls, student schedules etc. Maintain appropriate fixed asset inventory. Assist in the office as needed. Assist any substitute teacher assigned in the absence of the regular teacher. Perform any other related duty as assigned by the principal.
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of School Support Personnel.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
9 months Clerical Assistant Salary Schedule - salary to be established by the Board.
