Job Description

Troy Regional is seeking a Physician Office Assistant to support our dynamic Physician Clinics. This essential role is perfect for someone who is organized, personable, and thrives in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and register patients for clinic appointments Manage check-out procedures and schedule follow-up visits. Create and maintain accurate patient charts and files Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner Coordinate with Central Scheduling and Surgery departments Handle pre-certifications and insurance verifications Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, staff, and patients to deliver high-quality service
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Comfortable using computers; quick to learn new software systems Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred At least 1 year of medical knowledge or front office experience in a healthcare setting Strong independent judgment and ability to multitask Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly, professional, and positive attitude This position is a daytime, Monday-Friday position and offers a complete benefits package! 9ObCGP2AWu
