We are currently seeking an Office Coordinator to serve patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
Responsibilities Include:
Welcoming Patients:
Greeting patients and visitors in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries Creating a positive first impression for guests
Handling Communication:
Answering phone calls professionally and efficiently Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone; calling new referrals Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival Checking and responding to emails daily Protects patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
Overseeing Clerical Tasks:
Sorting and sending mail promptly Maintaining an organized inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials when necessary Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information Obtains revenue by recording and collecting patient charges
Office Operations:
Ensuring the office runs smoothly by predicting any malfunctions or scheduling issues Following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
