The Onin Group is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Senior Manager at the Mercedes-Benz Warehouse in Woodstock, AL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional environment and enjoys coordinating projects, schedules, and executive-level communications. Job Overview Under general supervision, the Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative and secretarial duties of moderate complexity to support the Senior Manager and ensure the efficient operation of the department. Key Responsibilities Execute and implement administrative practices and procedures. Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record meeting minutes. Provide administrative support to the Senior Manager. Assist team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Coordinate communication between the Senior Manager, staff, and external organizations. Manage departmental communications and administrative workflow. Schedule conferences, meetings, seminars, and coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation and hotel accommodations. Coordinate the Senior Manager's calendar, appointments, and worldwide travel schedule. Assist with planning special ceremonies, events, and visits from international guests. Serve as the primary point of contact with German headquarters and manufacturing facilities, especially during the Senior Manager's absence. Prepare presentations and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and executive communications.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Co-op, internship, or up to 2 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant or similar administrative support role. Required Skills Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience coordinating projects and supporting executive leadership. Ability to work effectively with all levels of management, employees, vendors, and external partners. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint . Preferred Qualifications German language skills are a plus.
