Position Summary The Center for Community & Economic Development Graduate Assistant provides support for the team's various trainings, events, and community projects throughout the year. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Center's proxy email accounts (cced.edu & cdi.edu)
Clerical and administrative support
Communicates with sponsors, board members, event attendees and other constituents
Assist with event logistics (room reservations, catering, printing, mailings, speaker/presenter/attendee communication, etc.) for the Community Development Institute and other trainings
Conducts research for CCED technical assistance projects Skills Considered Essential for Success

Required Education and/or Experience The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to operate appropriately in a professional work environment.
Specific qualifications as follows:
Bachelor's degree
Proficient in all Microsoft programs and Google Suite
Research experience
Strong communication skills
Critical thinking skills
High level of organization and attention to detail
Ability to complete work by prescribed deadlines
Ability to work on a team
