Job Description
Fort Smith Regional Airport is seeking a professional, organized, and customer-focused Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for visitors, tenants, and stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting daily airport administrative operations while providing exceptional customer service. Schedule Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week Preferred schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 hours per day between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling available Key Responsibilities Greet visitors and provide outstanding customer service Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail Perform general office duties, including filing, scanning, copying, and mailing documents Assist administrative staff with accounting, personnel, and other office functions Support preparation and coordination of monthly Airport Commission meetings Maintain organized records and assist with department projects Assist with airport badging and security system administration, including collecting badge fee payments Run occasional errands as needed Monitor and replenish office and breakroom supplies Qualifications Previous office or administrative experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; Laserfiche experience is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow oral and written instructions and work independently when needed Working knowledge of general office procedures and equipment, including printers, copiers, and scanners Professional, positive, and dependable demeanor Requirements Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Why Join Us?
