Job Description
Nightingale's Gift Shop at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Gift Shop Coordinator to manage daily operations, inventory, product ordering, financial management, and coordinate with auxiliary members and the Volunteer Services Coordinator. This role involves creating and submitting monthly reports on sales performance and inventory. This role requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both the retail and administrative tasks of the gift shop.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels, track product usage, and ensure stock is adequate for customer demand. Order new stock, track deliveries, and maintain accurate records.Ordering and Product Management:
Work with suppliers to place orders and ensure timely delivery. Maintain an organized inventory system and attractive product displays.Financial Management:
Balance books daily, record sales, track cash flow, and ensure financial accuracy. Handle cash and reconcile sales transactions. Coordination withAuxiliary and Volunteers:
Collaborate with hospital auxiliary members for special events, promotions, and sales. Work with the Volunteer Services Coordinator to manage volunteer schedules.Customer Service:
Provide exceptional service to patients, visitors, and staff, assisting with product selection and offering recommendations.Sales and Promotions:
Plan sales events, create attractive displays, and promote seasonal items to encourage sales.Shop Organization and Cleanliness:
Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.Administrative Duties:
Assist with opening and closing procedures, secure the store, and maintain organized records for reporting.Monthly Reports:
Prepare and submit monthly reports summarizing sales, inventory, and financial performance. Qualifications at this LevelREQUIRED PREFERRED
Education:
High school education or GED required with emphasis in business and office occupations Associate degreeExperience:
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Experience in retail, inventory management, or customer service is highly desirable Degrees, Licensure, and/orCertification:
H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge / experience is required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Comfortable handling financial transactions and balancing books. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with volunteers, auxiliary members, and staff. Experience operating a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash. Ability to manage inventory, place orders, and track deliveries. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.Similar remote jobs
