Final Mile Delivery DSS Final Mile Little Rock, Arkansas Full-Time Position Overview:
DSS Final Mile is seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Operations & Administrative Assistant to support our Little Rock facility. This position will provide administrative support to the Facility General Manager and assist with the day-to-day activities of our final-mile delivery operation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and communicating with customers, drivers, independent contractors, and DSS management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to routine customer and driver inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the Facility General Manager and operations team.
- Maintain driver and independent contractor files, records, and required documentation.
- Assist with new driver/contractor onboarding and ensure required documents are received and properly maintained.
- Assist with daily route paperwork, delivery records, scanning documentation, and Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Review delivery documentation for missing signatures, photographs, scans, or other required information.
- Assist with tracking deliveries and communicating route or delivery information to drivers and customers.
- Enter and maintain information in customer and DSS operating systems.
- Assist with customer emails, service requests, delivery exceptions, and operational follow-up.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other operational documents as requested.
- Assist with documenting damages, claims, refused deliveries, returns, and other service exceptions.
- Help maintain office supplies and general office organization.
- Assist dispatch and operations personnel during high-volume periods or as needed.
- Communicate important customer or service issues to the Facility General Manager.
- Perform other administrative and operational duties necessary to support the Little Rock facility. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous administrative, office, customer service, logistics, transportation, or courier experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Comfortable learning transportation, routing, scanning, and customer software systems.
- Strong organizational and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, contractors, and management.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Previous experience in courier, transportation, logistics, dispatch, or final-mile delivery is a plus.

Compensation:
$17.00 per hour, paid weekly
