Position Summary The Allied Health Administrative Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for students and faculty within all ATU-Ozark health programs. This position is responsible for coordinating daily office activities, preparing and researching special reports, and assisting with the development, revision, and implementation of administrative policies and procedures under the direction of the supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the Allied Health admissions process, including receiving applications, maintaining applicant records, and communicating admission decisions.
  • Coordinates and proctors admission and program testing (TEAS, HESI, and other required exams), including scheduling, room reservations, and score reporting.
  • Registers Allied Health students, prepares Program of Study (PTR) documents, and performs degree audits to verify program eligibility.
  • Maintains student records and program documentation in Banner and departmental filing systems.
  • Coordinates student identification badges, program orientations, and pinning ceremony logistics.
  • Provides administrative support to Allied Health program chairs, faculty, and students, including preparing application materials and assisting with program operations.
  • Coordinates room reservations and provides logistical support for Allied Health activities and events.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for students, visitors, faculty, and staff by responding to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Performs general office and administrative duties in support of Academic Affairs and Allied Health programs. Minimum Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in administrative support, student services, admissions, event-planning or related experience. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in higher education.
  • Experience using Ellucian Banner.
