Maintain an effective, professional demeanor at all times by establishing and maintaining rapport with all contacts including supervisor, children, parents, staff, vendors and contractors. Consistently be aware that you are representing Stanfield Elementary School to the general public and be professional and willing to help where required. Maintain an up-to-date listing of school buses, assigned drivers and students. Assure ready access to an up-to-date route sheet for each scheduled route to assure timely services and accurate information. Maintains an accurate daily attendance roster of staff Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of roads and streets within the District boundaries and the locations of currents stops Maintain all GFA information in appropriate software such as tagging, tracking, surplus etc. Prepare payroll for transportation and maintenance departments Communications Answer all communications as quickly as possible. Communicate with parents, supervisors, school administrators and department employees; receive requests, questions, concerns and suggestions and provide routine information and assistance or route to appropriate personnel. Communicate with department employees, dispatching them to needed locations to respond to routine requests or emergency situations. Comply with Federal Communications Commission rules and regulations. Update bus information and student ridership on current transportation online system Manage calendar for Operations Manager Documentation Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner and given to Operations Manager. Submit and track all requisitions for operations departments. Perform a variety of clerical support duties as assigned; type correspondence, memos and other items; compile data from clearly defined sources and prepare reports. Special Assignments/Requests Complete all special assignments and requests in a timely manner. Keep appropriate personnel advised of progress. Request additional help and information as required.
