Duties Assist client with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Support clients with medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare professionals Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage client in meaningful activities to promote mental well-being Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization of living spaces Assist with transportation for community outings using personal transportation with mileage reimbursement while on the clock (after 90 day probationary peroid) Requirements Knowledge of patient observation techniques, including neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and patient transfers. Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities is preferred Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while respecting residents' rights and confidentiality Must be able to pass FBI/DOJ background and livescan Join our team to provide compassionate care that empowers individuals to live their best lives!
