Case Manager Assistant (Personal Injury Law) Dragonfly Global Beverly Hills, CA Job Details Full-time $26 - $32 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Spanish Filing English Attention to detail Law office experience Legal case management Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Case Manager Assistant to support a fast-paced personal injury practice. This role assists with case intake, insurance claims, client communication, medical records, treatment tracking, and day-to-day case progression. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, comfortable managing a high-volume workload, and confident communicating with clients, insurance carriers, medical providers, and internal team members. Duties Support Case Managers with the day-to-day management of a high-volume personal injury caseload. Assist with client intake, file setup, and entry of accident and case information into case management software. Contact insurance carriers to verify coverage, policy limits, and liability information. Open and monitor bodily injury and property damage claims and follow up on outstanding insurance responses. Prepare and send routine legal correspondence, including letters of representation, medical authorization requests, and related case documents. Communicate regularly with clients regarding treatment progress, insurance updates, appointments, and case status. Track medical treatment and help ensure clients attend recommended appointments and evaluations. Maintain organized and current case files, including medical records, bills, police reports, insurance correspondence, and other documentation. Coordinate with medical providers to obtain records, bills, and treatment summaries for case and demand preparation. Update the case management system with case activity, documents, notes, and follow-up items. Assist with demand and settlement preparation by gathering records, summarizing case information, and coordinating required documents and signatures. Follow up on missing records, billing statements, insurance responses, and other outstanding items to reduce case delays. Provide general administrative support, including phone calls, scheduling, document management, and other tasks related to case progression. Qualifications Experience supporting personal injury cases or working in a legal case management environment. Bilingual English/Spanish required. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-service mindset. Excellent organization and follow-through in a high-volume environment. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, priorities, and active cases at the same time. Experience with case management software such as Filevine, Salesforce, Clio, CasePeer, or a similar platform is a plus.
